Aug. 18th, 2005 08:24 pmPetra is curled up on her bed her book open in front of her, proped up by pillows. A small black on White Kitten lays near her stomach. Petra absently reaches down and pets it.
"How 'bout... Ari?" She asks looks down at the kitten. It simply sits with his eyes closed purring.
"Your name doesn't seem to be very important to you does it?" The kitten opens one eye and looks at Petra lazily before closing it again. Petra laughs and pets the cat before turning the page in the book.
Petra considers something, then considers the Kitten. "How about Kit?" She knows its not imaginitive, this is why she has the baby naming book in the first place. The kitten opens one eye, then seems to shrug and goes back to it's seeming nap.
"Kit it is then." Petra considers the furry animal. I know He's smart, he follwed me right back here to Milliways. I've never seen a cat that will follow me like this one. It must be because it came from Milliways. I don't care though. At least he, Kit, won't ever leave.
As if responding to Petra's thoughts the kitten licks her hand when she starts to pet it again.
